I am a French researcher and project manager with the Payson Institute, who came to Tulane a few weeks before Katrina, fell in love with New Orleans and Louisiana, and well, kinda never left…
As a geographer, I am interested in the many ways places subtly inform our everyday lives, but also fascinated by the dialectics of representativity and exceptionality that seem so vibrantly at work in our state. I am also quite curious about the research challenges posed by the “Louisiana Paradox” project, as well as the implication of “happiness” as a possible component of International Development programs.
